Hey everyone, i was just wondering if anyone could give me advice on buying drawing tablets. You see, i just bought an Wacom Intuos4 tablet. Unfortunately, i don't think i put much thought into it too well, because i found out that this was a type of tablet that needed the use of a computer to work, and you cannot draw on the actual screen of the tablet. yeah, stupid me )=
I know now that there are two types: the desktop one (the intuos 4) and the ones where you can directly draw on it. I just wanted a type of drawing thing where I can just "get away" from the computer which I already use for many things. What i was hoping for in a tablet would act like the nintendo DS with that drawing program on it. Unfortunately the tablet that i am thinking of buying, the Wacom Cintiq is extremely expensive compare the the Intuos4. Does anyone have any ideas on finding a better tablet and possibly a cheaper one, or do you think i should maybe do the easy way, and simply get a DS and the drawing training program on it. What sort of tablets do you all use, are the desktop tablets the only ones to get?
There are some choices that i was thinking of.
1. buying a Intuos Cintiq from ebay, hopefully it won't be that much expensive
2. buy a gameboy 3DS with Art academy (I am still an amateur and I haven't truly mastered drawing)
3. Or maybe i should just buy Intuos4 first, and then later on save up for one that you can use without a computer (e.g. cintiq)

Dr Who
recent Doctor Who opinion incoming....
Depressed
Look I know that this may jade a couple of people but I really need to speak out.
In regards to Ken Penders and his recent tweets, in regards to him saying that he was suggesting Sally losing her virginity to Geoffrey. I don't think he deserves to be labelled the p word. But YOU DON"T PUT THAT STUFF IN COMICS for kids. Of course there have been some dark themes, but having sex in it would raise an awful lot of questions. And as for Ken trying to say that Sonic should be in a relationship, why does it matter? I can tell you when I was young, I preferred adventure and am in no interest in anything relating to relationships except for the light
Devious Journal Entry
Okay, i have seen some claims from some people regarding how Ian Flynn hates the Freedom Fighters and have been trying to offing them in the reboot saga. Whilst i don't know about Flynn's feelings of the freedom fighters have i have seen people spinning out of proportion.

Now Sally, she was the central part of the story arc of the reestablishment of Dr. Eggman and his deadly Death Egg mark 2. She was roboticised as a sacrifice to spare the Mobin citizens from being roboticised by the Death Egg's inbuilt roboticiser. Eggman would then modify her body with added inbuilt weapons. and a bit of a new appearance. Sonic created the
ian Flynn and comics gate
Ok, i didn't want to enter the debate regarding comicsgate
First of all, i will concede that the anti-flynn squad weren't as one sided in terms of condemning Ken Pender's behaviour whilst being outraged with Ian about comicsate.
Now, i am going to tread lightly with this subject.
I know that some of the republicans have been at the pointy end of the stick after Trumps election, and i feel sorry for the republicans who wished there was an alternative for candidate. I am not into judging people by their affiliation. If i had a coffee shop and there were these otherwise normal people that i know to be republicans i would still serve them - if

Well, I start drawing digital with a genius pensketch tablet, currently drawing with a intous 5. I have a Inkling to walk around and sketch things, but it just useful and handy for sketch.
About wacom Cintiq, it good, but extremely expensive. I choose intuos 5 due to it level of sensitivity and in some forum, some user have successfully upgrade an Intuos 5 in to some kind of homemade cintiq. There are couple other product cheaper and have same feature, but quality not as good as Wacom's products. As I know, Intuos 4 and 5 have develop wireless feature, but it require Bluetooth in your PC, and when you draw, you could sit somewhere else more comfortable, as long as you still can see your pic on screen. Not sure that what you mean about get away from computer?
I'm don't know about your financial state, so here couple option I can come up with if you can't afford a Cintiq:
For long or medium run, buy an Intuos. It very effective, and only took me 1 week, 1 - 1,5 hours of practice per day to get use to that kind. of drawing, but it need a computer to run, of course (even for wireless kind).
If you just need some cheap product with same feature to practice now and save up later for cintiq, there are other "stuck in computer" products like Bamboo or Genius pensketch (it was largest tablet with cheapest price, but it's pen need battery); or Inking for walk around sketch, but it hard to control and only effective for sketch and pretty delicate, so I not recommend it.
